영화와 바다의 도시, 부산에 위치한 대지에 고저차를 활용하여, 자연스러운 해안 단지를 조성하는 작업이다. 기존의 계획안은 한덩어리의 건물이었는데, 우리는 대지가 가지는 바다와의 인접성과 해안에 위치한 대지에 경관을 막는 건물이 아닌 경관을 드러나게 하는 디자인이 되는 것에 집중하였다.단지의 입구에 위치한 게이트 빌딩과 해안 공원은 공공성을 띄는 공간이다. 이 공간은 영화인들의 인터뷰, 전시, 카페 및 홍보관으로 활용된다. 또한 조각 및 설치 미술을 가능하게 하는 작은 외부 미술관의 모습을 가진다. 바다가 바라 보이는 여러 개의 소규모 대지에는 개성이 있는 주거공간으로 구성된다. 모든 주거단지에서 해안으로의 전망을 가능하게 하도록 하는 배치 가이드 라인 작업이 마스터플랜 과정에서부터 반영되었으며, 편리성과 산책공원을 강조한 단지 내 도로 구조를 구현하였다.공공성과 개인성이 서로 어우러지면서 바다와 문화를 동시에 경험할 수 있는 공간을 디자인하는데 중점을 두었다.

The project is planned at the film and sea famous city, Busan, which conjugates the natural level differences within the site. The existing proposal by previous developer was planned to place one massive building, which did not provide any connectivity to the shore nor the sea, whereas we revealed the surrounding environment and provided easy access to the shore.

The Gate Building at the entrance and shoreline park have public character. These spaces were planned for interview with filmmakers, exhibitions, cafes and presentation purpose. It has the appearance of a small external museum and place for the art installation.

The overlooking possibilities to the sea from each divided parcels were reflected from the beginning of the master plan process. The public park along the road was emphasized.

We focused on harmonizing between public and private spaces and at the same time, people could experience the sea and culture.
