프로젝트 007

거제도 바닷가를 바라보고 있는 낮은 산에 들어서는 레스토랑 갤러리는 지형을 그대로 활용하여 건물의 형태가 배치된다. 건축은 땅에서 시작하고, 건축가는 현재의 지형이 아름답다는 점을 기억하고, 최소한의 인공적인 작업이 들어가도록 구상했다.

먼 곳에서는 건물의 붉은 아랫지붕이 해질녁의 구름처럼 보이고, 가까이에 도착하면 전체 건물이 지형에 묻혀 직접적으로 보이지 않도록 하여 장소의 기대성을 주었다. 붉은 면이 있는 계단을 따라 내려오면, 바다, 즉 자연이 하나의 그림으로 표현되도록 건물 전면이 프레임 역할을 한다. 시시각각 변화하는 자연을 감상할 수 있는 레스토랑 갤러리가 된다.

건물의 지붕은 랜드스케이프가 되고, 건물의 공간은 자연안에 들어와 있지만, 보호된 장소를 제공한다.

Project 007

‘Restaurant Gallery’, which overlooks the Geoje Beach, conjugates into the shape of a low mountain terrain.

The Architecture starts from the ground. The architects memorize the beauty of the current landscape.

The concept of the building is to give minimum modification of the nature and inserts into the current contour.

Red colored lower side the roof is observed as red cloud. In the near, the whole building is invisible, and this leads greater expectation of the site. The red sides along the entrance stairs lead the visitors to the building and once you arrive, the great panoramic view of the nature opens. The building itself becomes a frame of a masterpiece. The landscape, itself is already an Artwork and the building simply accentuates. Through four-seasons, the landscape will change and the visitors could experience the various view of the restaurant as an art gallery.

The roof becomes landscape. The Building is inserted into the landscape but also provides as a protected atmospheric space.
